The American rock band will be in Madrid to perform its only concert in Spain as part of its From Zero World Tour. The concerts will be on 23 and 24 June 2026 in the Miguel Ríos de Rivas Vaciamadrid Auditorium, where the group will perform its greatest hits, as well as songs from its eighth studio album, From Zero, released in November 2024.
Founded in 1996 in California, Linkin Park is made up of the vocalist, songwriter and rhythm guitarist, Mike Shinoda, bass player, Dave Farrell, DJ Joe Hahn, lead guitarist Brad Delson, drummer Colin Brittain, and the vocalist, Emily Armstrong, who joined the group in 2024 following the death of lead vocalist and songwriter Chester Bennington in 2017. Colin Brittain replaced Rob Bourdon in the same year.
In 2000, the group released its debut album, Hybrid Theory, which included popular tracks such as Crawling, Papercut, In the End and One Step Closer, and reached number 2 in the Billboard 200 and became the seventh best-selling album of the 2000s. With the release of Meteora (2023), the band rose to fame and gained recognition thanks to songs that have become true anthems like Somewhere I Belong, Faint, Numb and Breaking the Habit.
Having sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, Linkin Park has won numerous awards, including 2 GRAMMY® Awards, 5 American Music Awards, 4 MTV VMA Awards, 10 MTV Europe Music Awards and 3 World Music Awards. It has also sold out at stadiums all over the world and was the first and only Western rock band to tour five stadiums in China.
The band took a break from 2017 to 2020 due to the death of Chester Bennington. In September 2024, Linkin Park welcomed Emily Armstrong as its new vocalist and Colin Brittain as the new drummer, embarking on a new era. At the end of 2024, it released From Zero, its eighth studio album, which received favourable reviews and reached number one in the charts in more than ten countries. This album combines nu metal, alternative rock, alternative metal, pop rock, rap rock and electronic rock in songs like The Emptiness Machine, Heavy Is the Crown or Two Faced.
