Jesús Carmona Dance Company - Tentative (Based on real landscapes)

Centro Danza Matadero - CDM (Nave 11) will host the latest creation by the renowned flamenco dancer and choreographer, Jesús Carmona, from 27 February to 8 March 2026, with performances from Wednesday to Sunday. The piece, performed by his company, offers an artistic reflection on personal search and the boundaries of movement through the language of contemporary flamenco.

Jesús Carmona, winner of the National Dance Award in 2020, has established himself as one of the most innovative figures on today’s scene. In Tentative, the artist immerses himself in a creative process that combines technique, strength and sensitivity, questioning the identity of the flamenco dancer and exploring new forms of physical and musical expression.

With an international career under his belt that includes venues such as Sadler's Wells in London, the New York City Center or the Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris, Jesús Carmona is known for his technical mastery, emotional intensity and ability to connect with audiences worldwide.

Tentative (Based on real landscapes) offers a unique stage experience in which flamenco opens up to dialogue with other disciplines, confirming the vitality and creative power of this art.
