The British singer and songwriter will be will be performing on 18 November at the Movistar Arena as part of his Pisces World Tour, in which he presents his latest album, Pisces (2025). The man behind hits like Say You Won't Let Go will raise awareness of his sixth studio album which follows on from Bitter Sweet Love, released in 2024.
Born in Middlesbrough (United Kingdom) in 1988, James Andrew Arthur is a songwriter, singer, guitarist and pianist who rose to fame after winning the British TV contest, The X Factor in 2012. Since then, he has become one of the most outstanding artists on the music scene, merging styles like pop, R&B and contemporary soul.
He started out in music at the age of 15, playing with many independent groups and he even formed his own band: The James Arthur Band. The musician performed in bars and clubs in his hometown and surrounding areas until he released his first EP, Hold On, in 2012. In 2012, he was also selected to appear in The X Factor, which he won with a cover of Shontelle's song, Impossible. He went on to release this cover version, which was a huge success, selling over 187,000 copies in less than 24 hours.
In 2013, he released his first full-length album of the same name, reaching number two on the UK Albums Chart. In 2016, he released Back from the Edge, his second album, which included his greatest hit to date, Say You Don't Let Go. In 2018, he collaborated with Anne-Marie on Rewrite The Stars from the film The Greatest Showman, which was a big hit.
His musical style is characterised by his powerful voice, which is capable of conveying deep emotion, combined with sincere and vulnerable lyrics. Following the release of the albums YOU (2019), It'll All Make Sense in the End (2021) and Bitter Sweet Love (2024), James Arthur is embarking on a world tour to present his latest album, Pisces, released in April 2025.
