The eleventh edition of the Madrid International Magic Festival embraces the International Stage Magic Gala from 24 February to 14 March at the Circo Price Theatre. It is an event in which some of the world’s best illusionists will participate, revealing how this ancient art has been reinvented with ingenuity, passion and talent.
This gala is the Festival’s major event and consists of a choral show that will bring together various magicians on stage, offering a total of 15 performances. The magicians, Andrew Basso (Italy), Han Man Ho (South Korea), Mag Marín (Spain), Dani Daortiz (Spain), Diego and Elena (Spain) and Jorge Blass (Spain) will share the stage for the first time ever to present their latest illusions.
The speciality of the Italian magician, Andrew Basso, is escapism and for this gala, he will present Houdini’s Water Tank, a challenge that is not for the faint-hearted. The magic of Han Man Ho from Korea is a novelty, using clothing to create a most original number.
Mag Marín promises fun and guaranteed surprises; Dani Daortiz will appear live in a virtual format, surprising the audience in an interactive way; and the international artists, Diego and Elena, will offer a performance full of beauty and plasticity. The popular Spanish magician, Jorge Blass, will present new, interactive illusions that will connect the audience with great illusions.
They will all perform some of the best acts to be seen in the 11 years of the Madrid International Magic Festival, as well as the most important new tricks ever seen in Spain. This gala offers a trip through the world’s best magic.
