Madrid Pride wouldn’t be the same without the traditional High Heel Race, a race -in its 24th edition- down Pelayo Street, in which participants have to wear high heel shoes of up to 15cm.
In sportswear or wearing a skirt: it doesn’t matter. What has to be there are your high heel shoes. Participants in this much original race have to keep an eye on their feet while facing another challenge: dressing up. This is why there are two stations along the way, giving runners first a dress in a bag and then a lipstick.
The race is organised into three qualifying rounds and a final. There are prizes for all finalists.
