After more than four decades, motor racing’s premier competition returned to Madrid in 2026, attracting 353,000 spectators over three days of racing, with Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli taking the win. In 2027, the city will continue to be a fixture on the international Formula 1 calendar when it once again hosts the Spanish Grand Prix, at MADRING from 10 to 12 September 2027. The ambitious Spanish Grand Prix, set to be the flagship event on the international calendar, has captivated both fans and teams alike. It will be held in Madrid until at least 2035, thanks to the agreement signed with Formula 1, resulting in an event that combines sport and entertainment, making for a memorable experience.
The track is 5.47 kilometres long with 22 bends. A cutting-edge circuit (with its impressive La Monumental bend as its defining feature) guaranteed to deliver some truly thrilling racing, with sections designed to impress fans and make for fantastic TV viewing.
The track uses the roads within the IFEMA MADRID complex, both at the current site and the future site at Valdebebas, as well as just 1.5 km of public roads. The facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and security, communications and climate control systems, enhancing the experience for both participants and spectators.
MADRING
