1st European Tourism and Gastronomy Congress

The European Community of New Gastronomy (ECNG) is holding the 1st edition of the European Tourism and Gastronomy Congress in November, under the title of Gastronomy: the new driving force behind tourism.   This event enables all European countries to showcase their gastronomic tourism proposals and their future projects.

This initiative is backed by the Community of Madrid, through its Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport, and with the collaboration of the Ibero-American Academy of Gastronomy.  It is a space where national and international representatives and experts will analyse the challenges and opportunities faced by the sector. 

It must be pointed out that Madrid held the title of European Capital of Gastronomic Culture 2024/2025, an award granted by the European Community of New Gastronomy. Madrid took over from cities like Krakow, Oeiras and Stockholm, and has recently passed the title on to Gdansk, Poland.
