Mexican singer-songwriter Ed Maverick is due to perform on 15 November at La Riviera. He’ll be playing alongside his band and performing tracks from his latest album, which combines folk, indie and alternative sounds.
Ever since the release of his early records such as Mix pa’ llorar en tu cuarto and subsequent releases such as Eduardo and La Nube en el Jardín, the young artist from Chihuahua has made a name for himself as one of the leading figures and most distinctive voices of Latin America’s new generation of singer-songwriters.
With an honest, melancholic style that flows seamlessly between acoustic folk, indie and alternative music, his songs have struck a chord with millions of listeners through intimate and deeply personal lyrics such as Fuentes de Ortiz, Acurrucar and Ropa de domingo.
His last concert in Madrid sold out quickly, and this latest performance marks a significant step in his European career, showcasing a fresh dimension to his repertoire, thanks to the presence and power of his new stage line-up.
