The Sala Castellana 214 at the Canal Foundation will host an exhibition that commemorates the centenary of The Walt Disney Company. The exhibition is coming to Spain as part of its world tour and will be open to visitors from 1 October to 11 January 2026. It offers a unique journey through the Disney worlds, from the classics to the latest releases by Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars, featuring more than 250 items on display, including artwork, original costumes and props.
Spread across nine unique sections and 14 interactive installations, this major exhibition celebrates a century of stories, characters, music and experiences created by The Walt Disney Company, offering fans the chance to explore a wide selection of pieces from the Walt Disney Archives, which have been preserved for over 55 years.
Visitors will be able to find out more about the creation of some of their favourite characters, films and shows, as well as the company's experiences around the world, from Disneyland Paris to the Walt Disney World® Resort.
This experience offers a unique opportunity to enjoy treasures ranging from classics such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) or Peter Pan (1953) to more recent titles, such as Encanto (2021). Pieces of art, sculptures used for animation, as well as costumes and accessories from live-action films will be on display. They will include the merry-go-round horse from Mary Poppins (1964), ridden by the great actor Dick Van Dyke, or the red dress from Cruella (2021), worn by the actress, Emma Stone.
Other iconic objects and accessories will be included, such as the original prop books from Cinderella (1950) and The Sword in the Stone (1963), the glass slipper from the live-action version of Cinderella (2015), Iron Man's helmet from Avengers: Infinity War (2018) or the Indiana Jones costume from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023).
The themed sections offer immersive experiences, such as a stroll along Main Street U.S.A. (the main street at Disney parks) or posing next to sculptures and prints of some of your favourite characters, such as: Mickey Mouse, the Parr family from The Incredibles (2004), Goofy or the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella (1950). A wide range of games and interactive activities will round off the experience.
