Crystal Fighters will be back in Spain as part of their tour to present their latest studio album, Light+ (2023). The concert will take place on 24 September at the Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío where new tracks, such as Manifest, Carolina and Love x, can be heard.
The indie pop and electronic band, led by Sebastian Pringle, got together in 2007 between London and Navarra. Best known for singles such as You And I or Love Is All I Got, they released their debut album, Star of Love in 2010. In May 2013, they released Cave Rave, an album they came up with in the Basque Country, a region that was a major part of the sounds that inspired their first album. This album was more oriented towards an organic, ancestral and tribal techno sound, somewhere between psychedelic and folk.
In 2016, they released their third LP, Everything Is My Family, which brought a more commercial tone to the achievements of their previous album. In 2018, they released the EP Hypnotic Sun and in 2019, they released their fourth album Gaia & Friends on the multinational Warner record label, with tracks like Boomin' In Your Jeep standing out. Now the group is back on stage to promote their fifth album, Light+, released in November 2023. This album is described by its creators as "a celebration of life and the light in each of us that shines in the darkness".
