The first Spanish fair devoted to New Contemporary Art is back. It is now in its tenth edition and has a new name, CAN Madrid Art Fair. From 5 to 8 March 2026, the event that used to be called UVNT Art Fair, is back at the Matadero Madrid with those disciplines based on urban art, such as post graffiti, surrealist pop or new pop art.
It is a fair for emerging artists, mid-career artists and big names, which has evolved to fresher languages, other aesthetic codes and new trends in the art world. For yet another year, it has a section devoted to Young Galleries, which are making a name for themselves in the market and focus on the discovery and promotion of young artists; a space for debate in Talks; and The Art Shaker, the programme by invitation that combines collectors, galleries, institutions, creators, etc.
More than thirty national and international galleries will present the current artistic trends in a larger space than in previous editions. It is an event that aims to generate diverse spaces for creation and dialogue, positioning itself as a connector of the different agents from the art world.
Over the past seven years, more than 100 national and international galleries have formed part of UVNT, in addition to 550 artists and more than 65,000 visitors. Many renowned artists haveparticipated: Ana Barriga, Marria Pratts, Javi Calleja, Edgar Plans, Robi Dwi Antono, Albert Pinya, Cesc Abad, Filip Custic, Imon Boy, Nuria Mora, James Rielly, Rafa Macarrón, Julio Anaya Cabanding, Wasted Rita, Paco Pomet, Grip Face or Flavia Junqueira.
