The alternative rock trio, Biffy Clyro will be performing live on 21 July in the Botanical Garden at the Complutense University (Alfonso XIII Royal Botanical Garden) as part of the latest edition of the Nights at the Botanical Festival. This will be a special concert in which they will run through the greatest hits of their career and present their latest album, Futique (2025).
The band got together in 1995 in Kilmarnock, Scotland, consisting of the vocalist and guitarist, Simon Neil, the bass player, James Johnston and the drummer, Ben Johnston. With its fourth album, Puzzles, the band made its international breakthrough in 2007, having reached Number One on the UK Charts.
Since then, the group has filled major venues worldwide and performed at some of the leading festivals on the music scene. The band has undoubtedly used its long career to continue surprising its fans with surprising songs that are full of rhythm and emotion.
Having sold almost two million albums and songs like Many of Horror, Black Chandelier, Opposite or Bubbles being played millions of times on streaming platforms, this alternative rock trio released Futique in September 2025, its first album in four years, which relaunched its entire rock mechanism.
This latest album was recorded at the famous Hansa Studios in Berlin and Biffy Clyro said it was influenced by “how our perception of memory has changed in the digital age”.
