Band of Horses are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their début album Everything All the Time with a powerful live performance of indie rock and folk rock at La Riviera on 22 October.
Formed in Seattle in 2004 by the songwriter and singer Ben Bridwell, Band of Horses has made a name for itself as one of the most influential bands in indie rock and folk rock. Since their musical début, the band has connected with all kinds of audiences through sounds that blend various genres with hints of American rock.
Their début album, Everything All the Time (2006), marked the start of a career characterised by deeply emotional songwriting, tackling themes such as change and the contradictions the band has faced in their personal life. Throughout their career, they’ve released a total of six albums, one of which – their third album, Infinite Arms (2010)– was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.
Their latest album, Things Are Great (2022), was a critically acclaimed release that recaptured the much more direct spirit of their early days. Their music has made a lasting impression on a generation of fans.
