Founded in 2003 by Silvia Ortiz and Inés López-Quesada, this exhibition space is committed to the interdisciplinary use of at as an active tool through which the events of the contemporary world are critically interpreted.
Initially, the gallery’s objective was to create a tangible link between the artistic scenes in Europe and Latin America. Nowadays, it seeks to reflect the polyphony and the diversity of discourses that co-exist within these contexts, incorporating in its programme artists with aesthetic proposals which, from a poetic point of view, maintain a definite socio-political stance through which a dialogue on identity, the global economy and multiculturalism is generated.
