Teatro Auditorio San Lorenzo de El Escorial

This auditorium, located in the tourist village of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, in the Madrid mountains, was opened in  July 2006 with the aim of becoming a unique space to enjoy great productions, operas and zarzuelas as well as small concerts and theatre performances.

Considered one of the most sophisticated theatres in Spain, from a technological and architectural point of view, this venue covers an area of 25,401 square metres, spread over ten floors, including 8 underground levels. It accommodates a large theatre that can seat up to 1200, a chamber room with 300 seats, two cloakrooms, a rehearsal room, parallel activity rooms, outdoor terraces, a restaurant and three cafeterias. 

GUIDED VISITS OF THE THEATRE

The Theatre offers a service of one-hour guided visits in groups with a minimum of 15 people, focusing on knowledge of this emblematic architectural space.   The route aims to bring visitors to the complex world that revolves around the presentation of a show, discovering the two performance halls as well as going backstage to visit the rehearsal room, dressing rooms, the sewing room, props storage, loading and offloading bays and other technical spaces.
