Nestled in the heart of Lavapiés, this gallery was founded by Blanca León and María Heredia (specialised in the field of Performing Arts and Cultural Management and Production), striving to become a major cultural hub that generates synergies and dialogues between different artistic expressions, with street art and figurative art taking pride of place within its walls.
This unconventional space is housed in a former bakery, close to the Escuelas Pías building. With high ceilings and brick walls, the picture windows highlight the uniqueness of the pieces exhibited, all linked to the world of street art.
The exhibitions spark a dialogue that is at once defiant and intimately connected with the observer. Seeking to bridge the gap between art and members of the general public, the gallery forges constant dialogue between current artists and new consumers to find new ways of understanding the artistic landscape that surrounds us and making it accessible to everyone, breaking the stereotype that art is for the privileged few.
Among the artists exhibiting in this space are Basket of Nean, Chanivet, Clara Prous, Inopia, Miguel B., Raquel Coba and Ana Salamanca, among others.
