To the south of the Puente de Vallecas district, in the Parque Forestal de Entrevías forest, this auditorium provides an open-air venue for various shows held during the summer months along with patron saint festivities, including San Isidro. The space has a perimeter fence and entrance, and is accessible to people with reduced mobility, except for the stage area.
Entrevías is one of the largest public parks in Madrid, sprawling over almost 500 thousand square metres. The existing pine forest was declared a public park and has been managed since 1970. It is also part of the city’s Green Cycle Belt. As well as the auditorium, there are sports areas and children’s playgrounds.
The park is also integrated with other adjoining green areas: El Parque de la Comunidad, a public park on the outskirts of the Entrevías neighbourhood, which offers great views of the central-south part of Madrid, and Soto de Entrevías Park, an educational space with a botanical trail and two lakes, built in the late 20th and early 21st century.
