Inside the Chamartín metro station, this exhibition explores in detail the birth and evolution of suburban transportation. With the aim of recovering the company’s historical heritage, Madrid’s metro service has been working hard to restore some of its classic trains, put into operation between 1919 and 1965.
Along with these trains, the main stars of the exhibition, you can see around 100 elements typical of the suburban transport system and evocative images of a past that has allowed us to journey into the present day and our modern metro system.
