Located next to the Casa Encendida cultural centre, and very close to Teatro Circo Price, this museum opened its doors in September 2023. Here, you can enjoy an immersive experience dedicated to exploring everything related with happiness.
Suitable for all ages, the museum offers an extraordinary journey through 600m2 of laughter and smiles, where you can discover what happiness smells and tastes like. With over 20 immersive experiences, visitors can try out a hugging machine, enter the Laughterdrome to experience the laughter therapy machine until they can't stop laughing, and try out the slide that has a very special landing. Through its various rooms, you'll embark on a comprehensive journey through the History and Geography of Happiness, the Laughterdrome, the Happiness Lab, the Happiness Beyond Money Space and the Happy Magic Show.
The space is perfectly equipped to host up to 125 visitors simultaneously and includes an auditorium that can accommodate courses, workshops, or other recreational activities for up to 35 people.
The museum offers an entertaining opportunity to learn, with evidence and scientific rigour, what makes us humans happiest. It also answers intriguing questions such as where the happiest grandparents in the world live, the formula for the songs that make us happiest, and the mystery behind Mona Lisa's smile.
