Museum of historic aircraft in flight

Located at the Cuatro Vientos airport, the oldest in Spain, between Carabanchel and Leganés, this museum has forty-three planes of more than thirty different models, encompassing sixty years of the history of Spanish aeronautics and which are in perfect flying conditions.

The foundation was created in 1989 in order to gather the most extensive possible collection of aeroplanes that have played a prominent role in the development of Spanish aeronautics. Collaborator with the Institute of Aeronautical History and Culture and certifier of the International Aeronautical Federation’s Diploma of Honour, the Infante de Orleans Foundation extends its activity to all those actions that aim to spread the Spanish aeronautical culture.  

Plane exhibitions are also organised on the first Sunday of each month in which an impressive air show can be enjoyed. As well as the exhibition, there are also workshops for children and guided tours of the different aircraft.
