This museum, founded by Combonian missionaries in 1985, brings together pieces from several sub-Saharan countries that allow an overview of the way of life of Africans through ornaments, clothing and everyday objects.
Visitors can also venture into African art through music (thanks to various musical instruments), painting (using batiks) and sculpture (highlighting the ebony and ivory carvings developed by Makonde artists). Especially valuable is its collection of masks, statuary and ritual.
