Behind the Railway Museum we find this innovative cultural and entertainment space for audiences of all ages. Run jointly by La Estación, LetsGo (the producer of shows such as The Hole and Dirty Dancing) and Ibercaja, this great cultural complex host various theatre and cabaret performances, musicals, children's shows, concerts, exhibitions, gastronomy...
Spread over an area of 18,400 m2, the complex is divided into three adaptable spaces equipped with the latest technology, offering a varied programme:
Area 1: 2000m² multipurpose space that can be set up to host all kinds of events and happenings: experiences and immersive exhibitions, shows, corporate events and much more. It has a 650m² lobby area, where you can set up theatre-style seating for up to 1248 people, or leave it more open plan to accommodate up to 1800 people. It has provided the perfect setting for major productions including "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Kinky Boots", "School of Rock" and "La Granja de Zenón", as well as concerts by artists such as José González and Simple Minds.
Area 2: Covering a total area of 2160 m², this unique circular space can be adapted to suit any kind of event or show. It is a multi-faceted space that can hold up to 2400 people standing, 750 for dinner, and 950 when set up as a theatre, making it one of the largest multi-purpose rooms in Madrid. With the capacity to seat 884 people, it has provided the perfect setting for major productions such as "The Hole" and "Dirty Dancing: The Musical", as well as “Oco The Show”.
Area 3: With 1,100 m² of open space and an impressive 16-metre height, this versatile venue adapts effortlessly to every kind of event. It can welcome up to 1,800 guests for standing receptions, 1,200 in theatre-style seating, between 500 and 800 for drinks receptions, and around 400 for rotating exhibitions. With no interior columns and shaped with a graceful, cathedral-like curve, its height provides remarkable flexibility for any kind of production or exhibition. It has staged major exhibitions such as "Tim Burton's Labyrinth", "Meet Vincent Van Gogh" and the Disney "Wonder Friendship Experience". It has also hosted an immersive cinema experience, children’s activities and monthly fairs with different themes.
The cultural complex includes an outdoor meeting point from which you can access the different areas, El Jardín, an area for food and drinks with food trucks, music and live performances.
