Casas Salabert are a set of three residential buildings located on the corner of Calle Alfonso XII and Plaza de la Independencia. Designed by architect Francisco de Cubas y González-Montes, the Marquis of Cubas, it was declared a cultural heritage site in the Region of Madrid in 2011.
The building, divided into semi-basement, ground floor and a further five floors, is characterised by a classicist-influenced eclecticism, with a subtle design in accordance with its surroundings. The main walls have a French feel with elegant plant motif adornment.
