The Mario Vargas Llosa Municipal Public Library is inside the urban development called Barceló Multi-purpose Centre, whereby it is one of the buildings that forms part of this space.
The library consists of 1,395 square metres divided onto four levels. It has rooms for consultation and reading, borrowing and Internet consultation, periodicals, children, group work and activities. Inaugurated in 2014, it was given the name of the Nobel Prize-winner for Literature, Mario Vargas Llosa, a prestigious author with many professional and emotional ties to the city of Madrid, his current place of residence.
