Eugenio Trías library was opened on April 29th 2013. It occupies two large pavilions in the Casa de Fieras, an old zoo within the Retiro Park. It is dedicated to Eugenio Trías, a prestigious philosopher and a prominent thinker on aesthetics, ethics, religion and politics.
The center has a surface of 3,794 m² distributed in two floors including reading and consultation halls, loans area, periodicals, children’s, pre-readers, youth and environment publications, internet access areas, rooms for group work sessions and multipurpose rooms.
