The Álvaro Alcazar art gallery, which opened in 2006 in the Barrio de Salamanca neighbourhood, is now located in the area of Prosperidad, in the district of Chamartín. Since its inception, the space has focused on the promotion and dissemination of contemporary art with an average of 8 exhibitions a year and takes part in international fairs, such as ARCO, Pinta NY and Art Cologne-Palma de Mallorca.
Amongst its artists, there are names that are fundamental in the plastic arts from recent decades, such as Eduardo Arroyo, Nacho Criado and Rafael Canogar.
