The district of Usera is home to this unique space that defines itself as a great container of travel experiences in the city of Madrid. You can leave your luggage here as you explore the city or enjoy any of the events and cultural activities they put on to share and transmit experiences, emotions and knowledge developed by curious travellers.
El Almacén de Viajes was created by Marta Insausti, aka La Motera, a tireless and entrepreneurial traveller who, after riding round the world on her motorcycle and discovering the universe of great trips and great travellers, wanted to create a place back home in Madrid where she could continue to share all the excitement of exploring the world.
Located in the district of Usera, this space offers itself as a home for travellers and locals alike who want to explore the world and its diversity through themed days, conferences, food and craft workshops, book and project launches, meetings, travelling markets and exhibitions, among many other things.
El Almacén de Viajes is a spacious and welcoming place that preserves all the features of the warehouse once housed here. Built in the 70s, the premises cover a total area of 155 m2. They have been fully renovated, restoring the original floors and other features.
