The neighbourhood of Los Rosales, located in the district of Villaverde Bajo, is home to this municipal sports centre, which is extremely popular with local residents. Young footballers from the different local teams, including the handball club Madrid Base Villaverde, train and compete here.
The Félix Rubio sports centre first opened in the early 1990s and since then the number of activities that can be practised in its facilities has steadily increased, now offering football (the centre has an artificial grass pitch, which can be turned into two seven-a-side pitches, as well as 5-a-side pitches, and two 1-on-1 pitches (for panna or nutmeg practice), handball, fronton, climbing.
There is also an indoor pavilion where you can practice gymnastics, aerobics, pilates, yoga and tai chi.
