In 1981, Jesús Lopez-Terradas and Pedro J. Ortiz Rey founded this watch shop in the Los Jerónimos neighbourhood, close to El Retiro Park. Their brothers, Santiago Ortiz Rey and Juan Lopez-Terradas, joined them in this venture shortly afterwards. Today, the four of them continue to run one of Madrid’s most renowned watchmaker's.
The shop stocks a wide range of antique watches from all eras and styles, all of which come with a certificate of authenticity and guarantee.
They also carry out mechanical and cosmetic repairs, which include valuable pieces from public and private collections. Some of the most emblematic ones include the restoration of the clock at the Primatial Cathedral in Toledo and the maintenance and restoration of what is possibly the best-known and most important clock in Spain: the one on the Correos building in Puerta del Sol, which is now the headquarters of the Autonomous Community of Madrid and the place from where the New Year’s Eve chimes are broadcast.
They also carry out appraisals of watches for their subsequent sale
