Mercado de Las Ventas

Las Ventas Market was built in 1995, in replacement of Canillas Market, from the 1940s. Facing Las Ventas Bullring, it is a major social and commercial hub in the district of Ciudad Lineal, offering a wide range of quality foods.

The market is well known for the excellent value for money for shoppers. It stands out for the extensive range of highly demanded fresh produce, mainly fruit, vegetables, fish and meat, spread over 100 stalls on the two floors of the market, which has a surface area of more than 2,000m2. 

The market offers a telephone ordering service and refrigerated locker collection point. It also runs food tastings alongside cultural and leisure workshops.

The building also houses a supermarket and a gym.
