The history of this family business dates back to 1962, when the “La Mi Venta” restaurant was founded and became a pioneer in Madrid in serving sliced Iberian acorn-fed ham. In 1992, the Gondíaz company was set up with the corporate purpose of the wholesale marketing and distribution of acorn-fed Iberian ham and cured meats, the manufacture and distribution of Christmas gifts for companies and training courses for ham cutters.
In 1998, the facilities were extended near Plaza de España. A large display of Iberian hams and sausages can be seen in the first two rooms and their famous ham cutting training courses are held in the third room, along with interesting product presentations, tastings and exhibitions for groups.
They are currently wholesale partners of 5 Jotas and Sánchez Romero Carvajal, official distributors of Jamones Lazo, Francisco Martín, Castro y González, and owners of the Jamón de Autor brand.
