The Barrio de Salamanca neighbourhood is where you will find this store selling unique and exclusive handcrafted decorative pieces from Mexico, where tradition meets design.
Each Huakal product is made using techniques in which its artisan creators are experts, having learned them from their ancestors. Handcrafted pieces that tell a unique story, where each one is different, with the authenticity that imperfections bring.
Espacio Huakal is divided into three rooms where visitors can discover handcrafted items and pieces, made using different techniques and unique materials. The first room is the Galeria, showing temporary exhibitions of artists together with unique pieces from Huakal. In the Fuente room, decoration and fashion coexist in a unique space that includes a large exhibition of handcrafted pieces for the dining room, bedroom, kitchen, garden and bathroom. And in the Pasaje de Colibríes room, you can discover handwoven textiles: carpets, bedspreads and bed runners accompanied by the cheerful song of hummingbirds.
100% of Huakal’s profits go to Fundación Kalimori, a charitable organisation that helps people with intellectual disabilities.
