Over a century ago, master goldsmith and silversmith Pedro Durán Morales began creating works of art in silver with his chisels, taking his first steps towards setting up Durán Joyeros. All those years of experience and the reliable quality of all the pieces he designed have made the firm one of the country's most iconic jewellers.
Pedro Durán soon built a reputation which led him to become the official supplier of the Royal Household in 1899, supplying cutlery, crockery, writing utensils and a long etc. Another important step in the history of this company is the opening of Durán Joyeros, pioneers in the introduction of quality Swiss watch making and one of the first jeweller’s to create personalised multi-brand spaces.
In 1969, Durán Arte y Subastas was founded and national and international museums and private collectors have had major works of art and all types of collectors’ items available to them for more than four decades.
As part of its philosophy of innovating and continuing to grow, it has created Durán Exquse, an accessible luxury brand with a Mediterranean spirit in silver with natural stones, in which design and attention to details prevail.
The fourth generation of the family is now working in this firm.
Durán Joyeros is also present in the El Corte Inglés shopping centre in Pozuelo.
