José Nuñez Rocha first opened this shop in 1912 with a license to sell pottery and crockery, a very typical kind of store at the time, selling all kinds of things from crockery to cleaning supplies, ropes and espadrilles. Over the years, it began specialising in handmade footwear, and later, in the 1980s, it was a pioneer in introducing occasion wear espadrilles in a wide range of colours and styles, even for weddings.
They also have ballet flats, beach sandals and a wide variety of slippers. All made by the best artisans in Menorca.
In 2015, it moved from its former premises at No. 3 Calle Jorge Juan to its current address on Núñez de Balboa.
