Spanish ceramic production has many variations and the majority are represented in this traditional shop. Here, they specialise in selling ceramics from many parts of Spain, mainly Talavera, Toledo, Alcora, Sevilla, Puente del Arzobispo, Manises, Granada, Onda and Ribesalbes.
The store, near to the Gran Vía, features a rather curious façade, as it is covered with tiles from demolished palaces and churches. This was originally a cabinetmakers that sold Seville-style furniture. Other products were gradually introduced, including pottery, artistic ironwork and various items made of woven esparto grass, before eventually concentrating on the sale of handcrafted ceramics.
