It started out as a coffee shop but, a couple of years later, thanks to its popularity amongst Cuban clients, it became a true tropical restaurant. Decorated with simplicity, it resembles a rural Cuban cabin. The pleasant wait staff and the family atmosphere are trademarks which combine with traditional cuisine at affordable prices. You'll find classic dishes in Cuban gastronomy such as Ropa vieja, black beans and the famous daiquiri. They don't take reservations and it is a good idea to get there early, since the dining room is usually packed with people. In 2014 they moved to another location in Chueca, but the spirit is the same.
