In this gastro bar in Madrid, close to Gran Vía and Plaza de Callao, you can enjoy the traditional cuisine of northern Spain at a great price. Opened in 2012 on the ground floor of the Hotel II Castillas, it is owned by Grupo Villoldo, which also runs the Villoldo restaurant in Madrid, awarded a Repsol Sun.
The menu at DNorte menu is divided into five sections and designed mainly for sharing. It offers simple dishes that focus on quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods, to guarantee the success of dishes such as homemade ham croquettes, tiger mussels, patatas bravas (fried potatoes with a spicy tomato sauce), Santoña anchovies, and grilled baby squid. The wine list has several national and international references.
