A traditional Madrid tavern in the Literary Quarter that was founded as a soup kitchen in 1908.
This typical Madrid tavern from 1908 is very well-known in the city for the quality of its beer and easily recognisable due to its beautiful tiled façade, the traditional decoration of the period. In its comfortable interior, where wood and old posters are the main players, cold tapas and mini rolls are served that are greatly appreciated with an aperitif, especially at the weekend when this establishment is at its busiest.
