Wine lovers should not miss out on this traditional 'taberna' style bar. Located in the gastronomic hotspot of Calle Ponzano, this bodega combines classicism and modernity, offering good wines, sharing platters and traditional soups and stews, or if you prefer, specialist chic beers such as Cibeles and Ceriux.
This bar is designed for customers to enjoy an aperitif or tapas whilst standing up, although there are four tables with high stools. It also has a white bar where wines are served, and a small ledge running around the wall where you can rest your glass or plate.
The menu includes over 400 wines from almost every region of Spain, along with a large number of international wines, which you can enjoy with charcuterie, salted fish, cheese boards, pickles, and even dishes such as Madrid-style tripe stew ('callos'), 'fabada' bean stew, bull's tail pasties, or veal cheeks.
