Next to Plaza de Olavide, in the city’s Chamberí district, this restaurant has been named a Bib Gourmand establishment by the prestigious Michelin Guide. Led by chef Alejandro Aguirre, the menu at Sisapo is based on contemporary, personal, fusion cuisine, combining Spanish products and traditional stews with Asian and South American ingredients.
The narrow little restaurant, with the bar and dining area in the same space, is exquisitely decorated with industrial and vintage vibes. There is also has an outdoor terrace.
The dishes on the menu combine modernity with tradition, and the house specialities include various type of croquettes and steak tartar.
