La Santa María Gastrobar

The lobby of the Barceló Torre de Madrid hotel will host from summer 2023 this gastrobar designed by Jaime Hayon, who was already in charge of the interior design of the rest of the hotel years ago. This new gastronomic space, present in other Andalusian accommodations of the hotel group, fuses contemporary design with a gastronomic proposal based on tapas made from different international cuisines.

For the creation of this space, Hayon (National Design Award 2021) has been inspired by the cultural heritage of Madrid, Parisian bars and the rainforest, using contemporary design elements with a touch of fantasy and maintaining the balance of colours. It can host all kinds of celebrations given its versatility and adaptability.

One of its most prominent elements is a zebra-skinned bear sculpture that welcomes diners and hotel guests.

The Santa María Gastrobar's menu fuses the flavours of Spanish cuisine with others from international cuisines, all paired with a selection of wines and innovative cocktails.

Once seated, a DJ will be on hand to create a vibrant and fun atmosphere, whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply for a coffee or one of their cocktails.
