Sagardi (Euskal Etxea)

The history of this restaurant goes back to 1979, when a society was founded to provide a cultural and culinary meeting point for Basque people living in Madrid. Today, it is a rotisserie restaurant located by the Teatro de la Zarzuela, next to Las Letras district, offering a welcoming atmosphere with throwbacks to the 19th Century.

Sagardi Group came about as a result of the dream of the Basque brothers, Iñaki and Mikel Lòpez De Viñaspre. In 1996, they opened their first Sagardi restaurant in the historic Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, which has since expanded to 5 countries and 8 cities thanks to its great reputation and success.

At Sagardi, the finest cuts of T-bone red meat, fresh wild seafood and vegetables from its own garden are served thanks to the great produce from the Basque Country. It also has an extensive range of home-made beverages, a fine selection of more than 25 wines, along with the traditional cider from Guipúzcoa and Txakoli.

Its specialities include dishes prepared on the Basque grill, featuring Basque T-bone.
