Located in the traditional district of Chamberí, this elegant restaurant offers a modern twist on Franco-Belgian cuisine, with a menu developed by chef Etienne Bastaits. It’s not just the food that shows a Belgian influence, but also the music –which livens up diners’ meals– and the décor.
The establishment, which can hold up to 65 people, has two floors. At the entrance there’s a large, comfortable bar with 11 types of beer on tap as well as typical Belgian snacks. The upper floor provides access to the dining room, with its warm and cosy ambience.
All of the food served is made in the restaurant’s kitchen and bakery, including the bread and confectionery as well as the sauces, butter and smoked foods. The menu’s main attractions include the sweet and savoury waffles, the typical moules marinière, the skate with black butter and the “Julio Cortazar” steak tartare. As for the desserts, the 8-texture “Everything Chocolate” is outstanding.
