Right by Gran Vía, in Malasaña, this restaurant-bar with a cosy terrace serves up delicious food as well as original cocktails, drinks and shisha pipes.
It is a modern and cosy space, adorned with trees and natural décor, which has a large terrace, three independent rooms, a large bar and a different feel in each area.
It offers specialist cuisine on its set menus and also has an extensive a la carte menu, making it the perfect place for lovers of good food. It also has a wide variety of drinks, coffees, natural juices and cocktails.
The history of La Troje goes hand in hand with the development of Chueca as a neighbourhood. Its story begins in 1996 when it opened its first premises at No. 26 Calle Pelayo, becoming an emblematic spot for the LGBTQ+ community. At the end of 2010, this place closed and was reborn as La Nueva Troje in 2011, with a radical change, both in the ownership of the business and in the decor and approach.
After a few changes of location, when the premises became too small after the owners decided to introduce a food menu, it eventually moved to its current location. Due to the features of the place, it can host any type of event.
