This original restaurant owned by Grupo LeCocó is located in the neighbourhood of Chamberí, where El Columpio used to be. The fun décor is reminiscent of a fairground, including rides, and the food puts a modern, cosmopolitan spin on traditional Mediterranean dishes.
La Morenilla is divided into two completely separate spaces: one is a traditional, cosy, family-friendly restaurant, and the other replicates a fairground, including a ghost train, Ferris wheel and a carousel, around which the different tables are laid out, which makes it a perfect space to eat out with children.
The restaurant is open all day, from breakfast and brunch up to dinner. Its menu consists of several starters, tapas and larger sharing platters, soups and stews, meat and fish, as well as homemade desserts. There is also a wide selection of wines and cocktails.
