Mestizo

The Madrid branch of the hugely successful Mestizo restaurant in London opened in the middle of the Paseo de Recoletos, a very exclusive street in the centre of Madrid.

The décor combines modern elements with other more traditional items, like the large Aztec calendar dominating the entrance. The menu includes a variety of dishes from all over Mexico, such as the famous tortilla soups, poblana cream soup, lamb mixtotes, the delicious Molcajete Mestizo, mole poblano, mince and cheese stuffed chiles and Oaxaca tamal. It also offers customers the chance to enjoy their own custom-made tacos. Similarly, the bar offers an interesting range of fine tequilas carefully selected to delight the most demanding palates.
