It couldn't be otherwise. In this place, obviously, they serve great raciones with a Galician taste: Galician soup, a delicious poor salad, padrón peppers, mushrooms with ham, Galician cheese, chorizo criollo, home made empanada, cod croquetas, tiger mussels, steamed cockles and their excellent octopus.
From monday to Friday they offer a daily special like the highly recommended sea rice, perfect for lunch. To drink, beer and Galician wines: white (albariño, godellos) and red (mencías). It is almost like being in Galicia. An authentic Galician tavern where food is traditionally prepared. Informal ambience with wooden tables and benches. Very lively. It is necessary to be there early in order to get a table. There is another Maceiras in calle Jesús.
