Worthy of its four-star category, Hotel Villa de la Reina -located in the heart of Gran Vía in a historic early 20th-century building which has been completely refurbished-, also offers both guests and the general public a cosy restaurant with a wide range of recipes pertaining to the best Mediterranean and author’s cuisine, combining the most traditional flavours and the latest tendencies in nouvelle cuisine.
Available both for personal meals and for business luncheons and other celebrations, its menu includes a “gastronomic menu”, in which they combine their delicious starters such as stuffed Piquillo peppers, Cabrales cheese salad, risotto or dill-marinated salmon with carefully prepared fish and meat entrees: confit cod, salmon supreme in txacolí wine sauce, Navarra-style trout or fowl supreme with potatoes, to mention just a few. Inevitably, the perfect end to a meal comes with the home-made desserts, such as the apple tart and the assorted ice-creams. Another unique feature is the fact that, despite being a fixed menu, it includes wines from the different Spanish Designations of Origin.
