This restaurant, founded in 2014, which serves light haute cuisine known as kaiseki, is located in the traditional Chamberí neighbourhood and is the fourth restaurant of the prestigious Japanese chef, Masahito Okazoe, the first that he has opened in Europe.
Izariya is a small restaurant that can accommodate up to 30 diners (7 at the bar and the remaining 23 spread across 4 tables) and offers light seasonal dishes produced using highly-skilled culinary techniques and extremely precise presentation.
In addition to several menus which change according to the raw materials which are purchased each day at the market, the menu features an extensive variety of sakes from 18 different producers in Kochi, Masahito Okazoe’s home town.
