García de la Navarra

Brothers Pedro and Luis García de la Navarra, chef and sommelier respectively, run this restaurant-wine bar located behind the Cibeles Palace, in Retiro.

In this simply decorated bar, seasonal ingredients are as important as the wines, with the bar's wine cellar boasting around 700 varieties, both Spanish and international. These can be enjoyed either with your meal or at the bar, by the glass and accompanied by traditional tapas.

The food that the García de la Navarra brothers cook is inspired by traditional home-cooked Madrid food, simple recipes based on quality ingredients. It includes vegetables, tripe and offal (tripe, pigs trotters, sweetbreads..etc.) stews, meat, fish and seafood.
